Dreaming Hlaukwima 3005 and A Girl Can Dream are two versions I created for the book Going Digital: The Practice and Vision of Digital Artists by Joseph Nalven and J.D. Jarvis. Working with the same three photographs supplied by the authors, seventeen artists created unique imagery, recording in diary form our responses to the seed images, our emerging vision, and our working methods in order to reveal the rich variety of expression made possible by digital tool sets. The patterns that comprise the Hlaukwima (dwelling) were created from a photograph of the grand canyon. Clicking on the image will provide a detail.
