The Touring Suburbia series revisits and revisualizes a previous (1979) black & white photographic study, (entitled Parma Piece) that questions the American Dream by looking at a suburban community in northeast Ohio that is the epitome of middle Americana. What were once discreet images have been seamlessly combined and transformed. By utilizing the iterative capacities and patterning possibilities of Photoshop I play architect, building castles in a binary matrix. As capabilities evolve, so the imagination. Touring Suburbia No. 5 was selected for the 2005 IDAA (International Digital Art Awards) and for TechArt II, the Boston Cyber Arts Festival. Also, three images from the series (No. 1, No. 3, and No. 4) were selected for Siggraph 2005
