I generally work in series and each series begins with a seed - a singular arrangement of pixels and light that will be transmuted into any number of discreet expressions by re-arranging the pixels. The seed image is invariably something very ordinary, something close at hand that I have scanned into the computer or captured with my camera. Each image in the series was made from the same seed image. What I seek in my explorations is an evocation of the mystery and symbolism embedded in the seemingly mundane ephemera with which we share our lives. ~ dgKaufman
S.O.S. No. 2 was shown at The San Diego Art Institute's Museum of the Living Artist 49th International All Media Exhibition San Diego CA, and S.O.S. No. 5 was shown at the Second All-Media National Juried Exhibition, 621 Gallery, Tallahassee, Florida.
